“THE” Dad of Tennille King Photography

OK, so I know many of you are waiting to see the Hot Dad pictures for the calendar. Those will be posted soon! In the meantime, I figured I better share with you “THE” Dad of Tennille King Photography. I could not have this wonderful career if it wasn’t for the love and support of my husband Ty. Sometimes moral support, sometimes tech support (he’s my network-techy-geek-guru) – but whatever I need, he’s always there for me.

I didn’t submit him for the Hot Dads Contest to be fair (because I’m biased and I think he would have won LOL!!). But since we had two out of town contestants that couldn’t make it in for their photo shoot, he is now also a part of that wonderful project, too. Ty and I met in college at Miami University. He was such a great friend and always made me laugh. He kept telling me that his humor would get old, but 13 years later, I’m still entertained. And of course, he’s hot – just look at him! He loves me even when I drive him crazy (which can be often), and he accepts all of my crazy flaws. Ty lets me be me and does whatever he can to make me happy.  Our relationship is an equal partnership and we work hard to make each other happy and have fun together.  I truly thank God every day for him.

He is THE BEST dad to our two girls – teaching them how to tie shoes, reading books, playing Wii together, and how to just be a good person – he’s very involved and they love him to death.  Everyone asks him if he wants to have more kids to have a boy, but he’s so content with his girls.  They watch ESPN & football with him, and they run through the obstacle courses he creates.  The girls are in gymnastics and he’s been keeping them on top of their “conditioning” – it’s so funny to watch!  He’s a real trooper when we blare the Jonas Brothers in the car, and already plots against future boyfriends and how to keep his baby girls safe.

All in all, he’s pretty much just amazing and I love him.

I’ve been promising him a session with his Ducati for a while now. We went out to shoot a bit downtown. I’d still like to shoot more for him, but for now, here’s some of the images we took a few weeks ago.
